Description
A 6km extension of the Mitchell Freeway to Romeo Road in Alkimos, this project also involved the duplication of several local roads, construction of three interchanges, noise walls, a principal shared path and a rail tunnel. 361 Degrees managed project communications with the community and key stakeholders from contract signing, throughout the design and delivery phases, through to project closure. This included managing and mitigating construction impacts including noise, dust, vibration, impeded access to residences and businesses, increased construction traffic and road closures.
Project Outcomes
Constructed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was delivered on-time and on-budget. Community representatives were 100% satisfied with the information provided by the project, with the majority of stakeholders engaged with the project indicating they believed their input had positively influenced the project’s decision making.
